What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments
We do not have comments on our website so there is no data collected through website comments.

Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included… However, none of our contact forms offers the functionality to upload files.

Contact forms
We have a contact form on our website so that our plugin users can easily get in contact with us for help using our products. This data collected in our contact forms is simply emailed to us so that we can reply with a solution to your issues or questions you may have. This data is not saved anywhere else besides in our support emails.

Purchasing our Products
When purchasing the StoreCustomizer plugin, we ask for basic details needed for an account such as name and email, etc, these details are saved to our sales system… We use Freemius to collect this information and deal with the product purchase and payment. You are also able to opt in to our newsletter if you choose to. If you do choose to opt in to our Newsletter then your email address (only) is sent to MailChimp so that we can send you information on latest products or exclusive promotions.

If you’ve purchased any of our products and do not want your data in our systems, you can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you and we can ensure that this data will be removed.

Cookies
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

The account page uses a Freemius iframe to log you in to your account, you can read the Freemius privacy policy here.

Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

How long we retain your data
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username).

Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data
If you have an account with us/freemius, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.

You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
